2023 Colors of the Year
Goodbye gray and white! Across the interior design landscape, we're seeing bright and warm colors come to life. For years, buyers have opted for very neutral "blank canvas" homes with white walls, white kitchen cabinets and light gray carpet. While we wouldn't advise for anyone who is planning on selling their home this year to paint their entire home pink, we instead encourage homeowners to incorporate these newly popular colors into their pillow accents, furniture and wall art.
Check out what the best known paint brands are showcasing in 2023!
Sherwin Williams - Redend Point
Described as a blushy beige, SW's color of the year takes warmth to another level. It screams compassionate vibes, perhaps perfect for baby nurseries, homes in desert landscapes, and cozy nooks. It pairs well with earthy textures and lots of live plants.
Behr - Blank Canvas
Perhaps the "safest" color of the year choice, Behr continues to celebrate minimalism and colors that complement everything. This off-white hue is sure to be a popular choice with home owners who still love neutral, simple and modern spaces.
Krylon - Spanish Moss
Greens dominated 2022 and Krylon is keeping it going! This lovely green hue is always a great choice for so many spaces in your home. We especially think it compliments modern floral wallpapers well and brass light fixtures. We're happy to keep riding the green wagon!
Benjamin Moore - Raspberry Blush
With it's orange/red/pink saturated hues, Raspberry Blush is BM's 2023 Color of the Year. It screams BOLD, SPICY and FUN. We think it's a great color to use in smaller spaces like a powder room, walk-in closet or mud room. Or even to paint over a distressed dresser!
Graham & Brown - Alizarin
A "moody auburn hue," popular line Graham & Brown chose a warm, inviting and elevating color for their 2023 color of the year. This color is also great for smaller spaces like half baths, doors and perhaps for floating shelves and mantles. We think it really rocks with blue and green accents!
